To be initiated into Pi Tau Sigma:
You must be in the top 25% of your Junior Mechanical Engineering class or top 33% of your Senior Mechanical Engineering class. Any candidates eligible for initiation will be forwarded to us each semester by the Engineering Undergraduate Office, and we will contact those individuals before our calendar events.
Pledge Requirements
1. Complete Chapter Application
2. Attend the second GBM and tutor once in the month of April
3. Get 3 signatures in a Mechanical Engineering Textbook from 3 ME professors
4. Take the pledge quiz during initiation (must pass 60%)
5.Pay $50 lifetime membership fee at intiation Ceremony
Note: if requirement 2 is not fulfilled, then mandatory interviews with faculty anf officers of intiation committe is mandatory
